Abstract

The syringe described comprises a tubular body (1) ending in an outlet nozzle (2) and a piston (P) comprising a rod (10) sliding in the body (1) and provided with a head (8) which is sealed in relation to the body. The end of the body (1) close to the nozzle (2) has an O-ring (7) and the piston head (8) is connected to the rod (10) by a weakened region (9). At the end of the piston travel, the head (8) of the latter tilts and slides over the toroidal sector (7) under the pressure exerted on the piston pusher (11), without eliminating the sealing characteristics, and then is applied against the sloping end (6) of the body (1), braking the fragile region (9) of the piston, thereby preventing further use of the syringe.
