Abstract

The present invention relates to a golf bag including a base and an upper flange which are connected together via a tubular wall made from flexible material and an inner tensioning rod. This bag is characterised in that the lower end of the tensioning rod 8 bears on the base 1 via a compression spring 9 and its upper end is engaged in a hollow 17 made in the lower face of the crosspiece 7 of the flange 2 and to which is laterally joined an access ramp 18 slowing downwards in the direction of the hollow 17 and on which the upper end of the rod 8 can slide before being able to engage in the hollow 17 into which it is pushed back by the spring 9 compressed between the lower end of the rod 8 and base 1 of the bag.
