Abstract

Small case for transporting a portable computing system. The invention relates to a small case designed in order to enable a professional portable system, consisting of a Toshiba PC 2100 or Toshiba AT 3100 computer and a 136-column Brother M 1509 printer, to be easily transported. In the closed position, the computer is placed in the bottom of the small case and the printer above, on a separation panel mounted on hinges, which permits access to the linkage installed beside the computer. In order to use the system, it is necessary to open the small case, pivot the computer through a quarter of a turn, raise the screen and connect the whole assembly to the mains. This system is intended particularly for professionals who have to acquire, process and reproduce data at their clients' premises.

Il existe des ordinateurs portables suffisamment puissants pour cela mais aucun système portable n'est pouvu d'imprimante capable d'éditer rapidement des documents professionnels. (les seuls systèmes portables actuels sont munis d'imprimantes 80 colonnes seulement, éditant à très faible vitesse). Certain professions need to enter, process and restore information on site. L'ordinateur est fixé (mais très simplement amovible si on veut l'utiliser seul : sa portativité n'est en aucun cas condamnée) dans le fond de la mallette. Pour l'ouvrir, il suffit de le faire pivoter (une rainure de coulissement est pr-évue ainsi qu'un système de blocage : une fois prêt à l'utilisation l'ordinateur est fixe)

Fabriquée en PVC expansé, la mallette est-solide, hermé tique, résiste à la chaleur et à l'humidité. Une poignée et une sangle en facilitent le transport. Deux serrures y sont appliquées dont une à combinaison pour le verrouillage.
