Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de protection des surfaces métalliques contre la corrosion vanadosodique par une couche protectrice composée d'au moins un oxyde métallique caractérisé en ce qu'on dépose sur la surface métallique à protéger au moins un métal s'oxydant in situ en couche oxyde protectrice, cette couche formant avec les oxydes de vanadium et/ou de sodium un composé dont le point de ramollissement est plus élevé que celui de ces derniers. Ce procédé est particulièrement utile pour la protection des turbines, fours de raffinerie et des chaudières équipées d'un surchauffeur de vapeur.
