A short ski for casual use has a integral boot shell which can enclose and be secured to a conventional walking boot whereever wherever the terrain permits either wet or dry skiing. The ski is pref. of composed (metal/plastics) construction, 65 cm long x 7.5 cm wide, with a moulded shell and a waterproof nylon (RTM-polyamide) cover secured by hooked pile fabric tabs. USE/ADVANTAGE - For cross country use by walkers or climbers in mountain country to enable quicket downhill movement without carrying the wt. of either complete ski boots (in addition to walking boots), or full size skis..
