Abstract

The method involves taking a mandibular or maxiallary pre-impression using a first material of high viscosity. A final impression is then taken using a second material of low viscosity. The second impression is obtained by injecting the low-viscosity material into the space between the pre-impression and the jaw. this space is sealed, during injection, by the contact between the pre-impression and the patient's gums. ADVANTAGE - Improved quality and uniformity of impression, avoiding deformation.
