Abstract

The caravan which can be extended and coupled, made from a standard carriage by means of panels assembled with bolts, is distinguished from others by its shape which, in the position of use 1, resembles a mini dwelling house. The panels are made up of a thickness of foam, for thermal insulation, sandwiched between two layers of reinforced resin. It is extended by a raisable canopy 3 and a folding floor 4 held by tubes 7 which are equipped with immobilising flanges 8 and resting shoes 9. The kitchen corner is arranged in an external cell 10. The space under the canopy is protected by blinds 6 which are adapted to the climate. The caravans are coupled by canopies which are raised in the plane of the roof of the caravan proper.
