Abstract

The present invention relates to a handle fitting for a vehicle door, in which the handle comprises a housing 3 seated in the door and having a visible face 311 equipped with an aperture 6, in which is seated an actuating keeper 41 mounted so as to oscillate about an axis, said handle being engaged in a cutout 21 of closed contour in the outer door panel 2 to which it is fastened, and characterised in that the housing 311 is designed to fit into said cutout 21 of closed contour, without projecting from the latter and being flush with the panel 2, that part of the housing seated inside the door being fastened to the door on the inside.
