Abstract

The present invention relates to a composite unit for acoustic or thermal insulation which is useful in the building of composite walls and coverings and comprising i at least one covering panel 1 to be used inside or outside, and ii at least one insulating panel 2, the said composite unit being characterised in that the insulating panel 2 is made up of cells 3 filled with an insulating material and arranged between two partitions 4, 5 closing off their ends, all the cells 3 being firmly attached to the covering panel 1 via one of the closing partitions 4.
