Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et équipement pour la vérification de l'identité d'une personne. L'équipement est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un premier lecteur 1 pour la lecture sur les pièces d'identification 2 des personnes à identifier, les informations relatives à l'identité de ces personnes, qui y sont enregistrées de façon inaccessible à ladite personne, notamment sous forme numérique, un terminal 5 équipé de moyens convertisseurs décodeurs 8 de données en provenance du lecteur 1 et des moyens de visualisation 10 des informations ainsi traitées.
