Abstract

The invention relates to a cellular beam made of concrete, intended to form surfaces such as floors of a building, of the type comprising two substantially plane and parallel longitudinal faces 1, 2 and two inclined longitudinal sides 3 and comprising successive crenels 31, 32. The beam is characterised in that it comprises in its sides undercut cavities 33 intended to constitute, with the facing cavities of a juxtaposed beam, a joint zone whose filling with concrete constitutes a key for keying the said beams, and longitudinal reinforcing steel bars 5 embedded at its lower part as well as transverse steel bars 7, each passing under at least two longitudinal steel bars.
