Abstract

Device for alternately covering and uncovering the point of a pair of compasses. The invention relates to a device for making a pair of compasses safe so that the point cannot cause injury. It consists of a sliding piece 5 that may be moved longitudinally along the arm 2a of a compass carrying the point 1, alternately covering or uncovering the said point, and also a recess 3 containing refill accessories 4. Comme il va de soi et comme il peut apparaitre d'ailleurs déja dans ce qui précède, l'invention ne se limite pas à la seule forme d'exécution qui vient d'être décrite.
