Abstract

The invention relates to a backing for a photograph or the like, to form a personalised postcard or greetings card. The backing according to the invention is noteworthy in that it is made of a sheet 1 comprising a transverse fold line 2 separating the said sheet into two halves 3, 4 of approximately equal dimensions, one of the faces 3a, 4a of each half 3, 4 being coated at least partly with a self-adhesive product in such a way that the coated faces of both halves 3 stick together on contact, while one of the halves has a window 5 of slightly smaller dimensions than those 6 of the photograph or the like to be inserted and the uncoated face 4b of the other half 4 is free or intended to receive any kind of printing so that the verso of the photograph can be placed on without sticking to the coated face 4a of the uncut half 4, the recto of the said photograph being visible through the window 5 of the half with the window 3, after the coated faces 3a, 4a of the two halves have been folded together, so that they stick where they come into contact with each other.
