Abstract

The invention relates to collars for animals in order to make them visible at night. This collar comprises a support, made of leather or plastic 1, which bears a phosphorescent part 2 and another reflecting part 3. The part of the collar which bears the phosphorescent material will be wider than the part 4 used for attaching the collar. The phosphorescent part makes it possible to spot the animal in total darkness. The reflecting part makes it possible, by way of its brightness upon light impingement, to signal the presence of the animal to the road user. This invention can be used when herding animals, for cats and dogs, but also as fancy trinkets for individuals.
