Abstract

The subject of the invention is a first certificate of addition to French Patent No. 2,442,427 filed on 24th November 1978 for a one-piece projectile device launched by a portable firearm. It consists of the combination of the body of the hard-metal profiled bullet 3, first with a soft-metal encasing covering 7 having three fins at 120 DEG 8, 9 and then with a light synthetic-resin stabilising tail unit 11 of conical cross-section which undergoes the entire propulsive effect. It is intended for improving the ballistics of the projectile for smooth-barrelled hunting rifles, choked or not, in terms of the balancing and stabilisation of the bullet and its penetration and accuracy.

Description

L'objet de l'invention consiste en un premier certificat d'addition au brevet français N" 2.442.427 déposé le 24 Novenibre 1978, pour un dispositif de projectile mono-pièce, lancé par arme portative. The subject of the invention consists of a first certificate of addition to French patent N "2,442,427 filed on 24 Novenibre 1978, for a one-piece projectile device, launched by portable weapon.

Il est destiné à l'amélioration balistique du projectile pour fusils de chasse à canon lisse, choké ou non en ce qui concerne l'équilibrage et la stabilisation de la balle ainsi que sa pénétration et précision. It is intended for ballistic improvement of the projectile for shotguns with smooth barrel, choké or not with regard to the balancing and stabilization of the bullet as well as its penetration and precision.

L'expérience a démontré que la partie métallique entourée de métal mou et déformable, de centrage ne constituant pas un empannage directement suffisant pour assurer un effet directionnel donnant au projectile une précision maximale et une pénétration arnéliorée. Experience has shown that the metal part surrounded by soft, deformable, centering metal does not constitute a directly sufficient jibe to ensure a directional effect giving the projectile maximum precision and improved penetration.
