Abstract

This piece of furniture comprises a folding lower assembly 1, capable of being opened up in the shape of a right angled parallelepiped, which is formed by four plates 3, which are made of rigid material and are articulated one to the other by means of linking hinges 4. In combination with this folding assembly, there is provided a removable plate 2 intended to be placed horizontally above this assembly after it has been opened up and after its walls have been arranged in a vertical position on the ground or on any other support of this assembly. This folding piece of furniture may be used in particular for furnishing stands in temporary exhibitions or for fitting out multiple purpose premises.

Description

La présente invention a pour objet un meuble pliant et démontable pouvant servir de podium, de tabouret ou similaire. The present invention relates to a folding and dismountable piece of furniture which can serve as a podium, a stool or the like.

Ce meuble est destiné à remplacer les meubles de ce genre qui habituellement ne sont pas démontables. Ce meuble pliant est destiné à être utilisé notamment dans le cas de certaines applications pour lesquelles il est avantageux de pouvoir stocker ou transporter de tels meubles sous un volume d'encombrement aussi faible que possible. Ceci est par exemple le cas pour les meubles destinés à être utilisés périodiquement à l'occasion de certaines expositions temporaires. This piece of furniture is intended to replace furniture of this kind which usually is not removable.
