Abstract

Mini generator of electricity by recovery of the energy from the swell. A sealed casing encloses a fixed plate 1 equipped with a circle of coils on cores 2 facing which magnets 5 fixed to a rotating plate 4 form an alternator. At the centre of the plate 1 a vertical spindle 3 serves as a pivot for the plate 4, as a support for the fixed disc 9 then, at its top, for a bearing supporting a rotating arm 10. At the end of this arm a fixed wheel 8 matched with a free wheel 7 turns freely. At the other side of the arm a free wheel 6 and then a weight 11 are mounted. The free wheels 6 and 7 engage on the plate 4. When the weight 11 turns in the clockwise direction the arm 10 pivots in the same direction, the free wheel 6 being in blocked mode drives the plate 4 which produces electricity in the coils 2. When the weight 11 sets off in the opposite direction the wheel 6 freewheels while 8 drives 7 which, being in blocked mode, drives the plate 4 still in the same direction. The device according to the invention is intended to supply power to marine buoys of all types, as well as to persons shipwrecked at sea, or to lifeboats.
