Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanism for locking or unlocking the tipping telescopic beam 7, 8 with respect to the rear connecting rod 4 of a vehicle for handling containers 28. The connecting rod 4 is extended in front of the articulation pin 5 of the beam 8 by a nose 6 under which a hook 13 is capable of clipping. The said hook is subjected to the antagonistic action of a return spring 18 and of a tipping pedal 25. The pedal 25 is pushed down rearwards by a stop 27 of the sliding portion of the beam 8, when the latter is telescoped (retracted) into the contracted position. La nouveauté de la présente invention concerne le bec de verrouillage 6 qui prolonge vers l'avant la biellette 4 , pour coopérer avec un crochet 13 , basculant autour d'un axe d'arriculation 14 porté par la partie ex térieure non télescopique 7 . Le crochet 13 se prolonge vers le bas par un cliquet de verrouillage 15 , dont la face exterieure constitue une rampe inclinée 16 . Vers.le haut , le crochet 13 se prolonge au-dessus de l'axe 14 pour definir le proint d'accrochage 17 d'un ressort de rappel 18 .Ce dernier est par ailleurs ancré en un point 19 solidaire de la partie extérieure non télescopique 7
Le dos du crochet 13 possede , à sa partie inférieure un axe d'articulation 20 qu'une tringle articulée 21 relie à un.autre axe 22 , porte par l'extrémité inférieure d'un levier 23 . Au-dessus de l'axe 22 , se trouve un axe d'articulation 24 porté par la partie extérieure 7 , autour duquel peut pivoter le levier 13 .Ce dernier se prolonge au-dessus de l'axe 24 , par une pédale de commande 25
Le pedale 25 se trouve sur la trajectoire decrite en fin de course de contraction de la potence télescopique 8 , par une butée 27 , depassant sur le côté de la partie télescopique interieure 9
Le fonctionnement est le suivant
Lorsque la potence télescopique 8 est en tièrement contractée ( figures 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 ) , la butée 27 maintient repoussée vers l'arrière la pedale 25 . Le levier 23 occupe donc la position basculee selon laquelle son axe 22 est maintenu en position avant , ce qui a pour effet de maintenir le crochet 13 en position déverrouillée, à l'encontre de son ressort de rappel 18 . Dans cette position ( figure 6) ,le cliquet 15 est dégage hors du bec 6 de la biellette 4 .Dans ces conditions , lorsqu'on fait fonctionner le vérin de levage 10 , la partie extérieure 7 de la potence 8 pivote librement autour de l'axe 5 . Ce dernier reste posé sur le châssis 2 , ainsi que la biellette 4 (figures 2 et 3) , tant que la partie extérieure 7 n' est pas en butee contre la biellette 4 , auquel cas , celle ci se deplace avec elle ( figure 4) , par basculement autour de l'axe 3 . Ces opérations correspondent à la manoeuvre pour poser au sol un conteneur 23 ( figure 4) , ou pour le charger sur le camion ( figure 2)
Par contre , des que la potence 8 est télescopee vers l'avant (figures 1 , 5 et 7) , le crochet 13, la tringlerie ?1 et la pédale 25 sont soumis o la seule action du ressort de rappel 18 , ce qui maintient le cliquet 15 en position de verrouillage sous m'extrémité du bec 6.

The operation is as follows
When the telescopic bracket 8 is fully contracted (FIGS. 2, 3, 4, 6), the stop 27 keeps the pedal 25 pushed back. The lever 23 therefore occupies the tilted position according to which its axis 22 is held in the front position, which has the effect of keeping the hook 13 in the unlocked position, against its return spring 18. In this position (Figure 6), the pawl 15 is released from the spout 6 of the rod 4. Under these conditions, when operating the lifting cylinder 10, the outer part 7 of the bracket 8 pivots freely around the axis 5. The latter remains placed on the frame 2, as well as the link 4 (Figures 2 and 3), as long as the outer part 7 is not in abutment against the link 4, in which case, the latter moves with it (Figure 4 ), by tilting around axis 3. On the other hand, as soon as the stem 8 is telescoped forward (FIGS. 1, 5 and 7), the hook 13, the linkage? 1 and the pedal 25 are subjected to the sole action of the return spring 18, which maintains the pawl 15 in the locking position under the end of the spout 6.

La rampe inclinée 16 prevue sur le dos du crochet 13 permet éventuellement d'éclipser automatiquement celui-ci lorsqu'il passe devant l'extrémité du bec 6 , en prenant appui avec coulissement , sur le dos de celui-ci.
