Abstract

The invention relates to a device for driving the front wheel of a motorbike. This device is characterised mainly in that this drive takes place by means of a mechanical, hydraulic or electric transmission. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, this device consists of a differential 1, connected to the output shaft of the gearbox, a hydraulic or claw clutch 2, a primary shaft 3, with universal joints and sliding sheath, driving, by means of gearing with concurrent axes 4 and 5, a secondary shaft 6, with a sliding sheath, transmitting the movement to the front wheel by means of gearing with concurrent axes 7 and 8. The device according to the invention is mainly intended for equipping all-terrain or competition motorbikes and other two-wheeled vehicles.
