Abstract

The present invention relates to a heat accumulator intended to produce hot water which can be used for heating or sanitary purposes. The storage is carried out by fusion/crystallisation of bodies of great latent heat of fusion and by the water surrounding the receptacles containing the storage products. The heat sources are electrical energy - preferably in off-peak hours - and solar energy or any other recovery energy.
