Abstract

The present invention relates to a trestle for cutting up wood, particularly firewood. Trestle characterised in that it consists essentially of a tubular support chassis 1 in the shape of a toboggan or rolling chassis, and of at least two pairs of V-shaped arms 2 mounted removably on the chassis 1', at least one arm 2' of a pair being movable and being capable of being connected by its free end to the corresponding first arm 2 by means of a chain 4 or of a cable interacting with a clamping device 5.
