Abstract

The apparatus according to the invention is intended for the manual folding of cloth sheets by a single person. This apparatus comprises two grippers 3, the spacing of which can be adjusted and the opening of which is remotely controlled by a pedal 8. The grippers 3 are mounted on a support 1 fixed to a partition by slots 2. The adjustment of the spacing of the grippers 3 is carried out by means of elongate holes 5 and wing nuts 6. The remote control of the opening of the grippers is carried out by means of levers fixed by nuts 7 to the grippers 3, two small chains 4 and a pedal 8.
