Abstract

A make-up case comprises a receptacle piece 1, a lid piece 20 articulated on the receptacle piece and stressed relative thereto towards an open position, and a slide 10 arranged in a hollowed-out part 2 of the receptacle. The slide has a nose 11 and a hooked part 13 formed on the inside of its upper end and capable of hooking onto a second hooked part 21 formed on the lower surface of the lid. The slide also has a rear extension 14 penetrating into a recess 7 made in the rear end of the receptacle and, when this extension 14 is pressed forwards, the hooking together of the first and second hooked parts is interrupted by the forward movement of the first of these parts, which opens the lid.
