Abstract

The dry cell is cylindrical, has its positive terminal 4 on its upper surface and a base 2 forming its negative terminal. The adaptor for such a cell consists of an insulating cylindrical jacket 5 of standard dimensions, with a base 24 and a top 6, into which the cell is wedged.
