Abstract

The vertical take-off aircraft comprises a vertically oriented jet engine (7) which creates a cushion of air beneath the aircraft body, allowing the aircraft to take-off and land perpendicularly to the ground. Two jet engines positioned at the rear of the body give the aircraft a high speed capability in an horizontal direction. The body of the aircraft has a circular periphery and is conical in cross-section.
