Abstract

The elements of the accoustic screen are transparent and are made of glass or transparent plastics pref. acrylic resin, polycarbonates, polystyrene etc. and others which are supple or rigid. The screen consists of two main anti noise units. One (A) is of reversed V shape made by moulding or extrusion to trap waves and prevent any echo backwards. These are mounted parallel, one above the other. There can also be several plates (E) of transparent plastic material behind the other modules. These acts as sound deadeners and can be fitted between two sets of the others.
