Abstract

The alarm signal transmission system uses a normal switched telephone line connected to a telephone transmitter and an electronic circuit which controls the voltage on the line. In the event of a failure of the normal switched line lasting more than a specified time, the electronic circuit directs the output information via a special protected line via the outer box. If an alarm occurs on the cable during failure of the normal line, it is transmitted directly by the protected line. The electronic circuit advances a counter simultaneously.
