Abstract

The arrangement includes a panel (2) on an electronic machine having a housing for a control box (1) which is connected only when the pins in the base (10) connector of the panel engage a mating connector (18) in the box. Movement of the box for mating of the connector is guided by spigots (11,12) which engage slots. A pin locks the box in position with the connector mated to prevent disengagement caused by vibration. A knob enables the pin to be disengaged to free the box. A cable engages each of the mating sections of the connector to allow the control box to be operated while it is removed from its housing.
