Abstract

The insulating curtain is for use in a greenhouse or conservatory, being subjected to no stress during placement in position or withdrawal. It can be wound on and off a roller, travelling along guide rails following the shape of the greenhouse roof under the action of a rack or auxiliary rope. A wire, lattice-work or bar support for the curtain can be provided between the rails. The curtain can be automatically drawn or withdrawn by a reversible motor with reduction gear, controlled by a thermostat, timer or manually.
