Abstract

Ceiling panels of expanded polystyrene shaped to rest upon and cover the underside of conventional flanged rafters feature undercut channels on the underside of the panels to secure a lining of fibrocement for added fire resistance. Pref. the channels have a dovetail section. Refers to use of coatings based on a blend of cement and 'AGRESTA' (RTM) which is water repellant, stabilised and silicified.
