Abstract

The gang plank has a revolving table (6) rotating about a vertical axis. The frame is fitted with coil springs (5,5',5"), and a flexible winder (19). An hydraulic cylinder (23) is fitted with knuckle joints and is fitted to the revolving table. The bearing surface (2) is maintained under tension during movement of the plank. The cable pulley (17) remains under a constant tension from the cable free end at the fixed point (13). The turntable is stabilised by automatically controlled hydraulic cylinders.
