Abstract
A first hole (24) connects a channel (20) associated with the engine slow speed to the carburation chamber (10) above the butterfly flap (14), that leads to the inlet tube (16) of the engine. A semi-parallel circuit (34-44) admits air or another gas that passes into the slow-speed channel (20) downstream of a calibrator (21) and the nozzle (22) upstream of the first hole. The circuit consists of a regulator (40) whose cross-section is determined by at least one engine parameter, in order to modulate the relative pressure prevailing in the slow-speed channel such that the flow of air through the calibrator and thus the fuel injected by the nozzle (22) is adjusted to make the fuel/air mixt. constant during the transition from slow to normal speed.
