Abstract

A dosing system is used to dispense liq. food products. The filling speed is limited only by the pressure needed for the liq. flow thus enabling high speed to be attained. A doser comprises a cylinder (1) which closes the inlet orifice for a liq. contained in a reservoir (5). Compressed air arrives via an inlet (13) and a cylindrical skirt (6) slides in the body (4) to block the outlet (12) for the air compressed in a cylinder (3). This displaces the cylinder to exhaust the air via an orifice (14) while the liq. dose is admitted between the two cylinders (1,2). The volume is adjusted by a screw stop (19) and the liq. is transferred to the outlet (12) by the admission of air.
