Abstract

The automatic slitter scorer for corrugated paper board comprises a shaft or pair of shafts and a set of slitting and scoring heads which are individually movable along the shaft. The shaft has a friction drag surface (44) which restrains the heads from movement until the shaft is expanded to hold the heads in position. The expansion is effected by supplying oil to a tube (46) under a metal insert body (42) on which the friction covering (44) is mounted.
