Abstract

Installation for the placing of a cover on to a container with both cover and container consisting of foil material and/or to close the container with the cover. The installation includes a transport track for the container on the sides of which is one drive rail each movable to and from in rhythm parallel to the transport track. There are guide arms with a swivelling hold on both drive rails wich in a first swivel position with the drive rail moved in the direction of transport fit in pairs behind one container each, and in a second swivel position with the drive rail moved in the opposite direction are swivelled back to the sides. The swivelling of the guide arms from one to the other swivel position is carried out by adjusting elements made as a rod system.
