Abstract

The fuselage comprises, among other elements which are normally symmetric in their shapes and/or their operating characteristics, two half-wings and their equipment, two landing gear halves, a two-seat tandem cockpit and various main joining elements for and in the half-wings. Each half-wing (11) has a symmetric profile over all or part of the length of its straight mid line (12); this line constitutes a single plane from the root (13) to the tip (14) of the wing; this plane constitutes the plane of symmetry of the shapes and of the volumes. Most of the structures and of the elements of the half-wing have this same plane of symmetry. Some joining (20a, 20b) or wing equipment elements, which do not have the characteristic plane of symmetry of the wing, have their own plane of symmetry, as they are arranged symmetrically with respect to the half-wing's own plane of symmetry. Thus the usually symmetric and different assemblies are made identical, and thus interchangeable, and thus the number of separate parts constituting a pair of half-wings is reduced approximately by half.
