Abstract

The mast is stepped into a cylinder (5) in the sail board and has a flexible cone (2) with a core (4) fitting inside the mast (19) on one side of the cone. Tbe step (3) on the lower side of the cone has a spline (3) which fits in the guide bush (7). The guide bush fits inside the cover (4) which rests on top of the cylinder (5). The bush is supported by a collar (11) the sleeve (12) and the flanged spacers (13,14). It is located by a washer (15) held by a pin (16).
