Abstract
The engine consists of an enclosed cylindrical space (2) mounted on a hollow shaft (3) and running in horizontal bearings on either side of the cylinder. The cylinder is driven through a pinion (5) mounted on the shaft. The inside of the cylinder is fitted with a number of guide plates (7) with guide vanes (12) in between the plates. A burner (16) is mounted on the outside of the cylinder, and the inside edge of the cylinder is fitted with ribs (17). Water is admitted to the shaft through the pipe (14).
