Abstract

The sliding bolt is for a movable partition and is guided in a sleeve (7) and lockable in the engaged and free positions. Locking is effected by a ball (6) mounted on an elastic component which presses it against the bolt (1). There is a hemispherical cavity in the bolt in the path of the ball when the bolt is slid, and an oblong one through which a screw extends so as to limit the amount of sliding movement. The bolt's guiding sleeve is screwed to a fixed support and is moulded from a plastics material with a honeycomb structure.
