Abstract

The locking mechanism for the prop stand of motor cycles consists of a tube fitted at the end of a fork and a housing which has a lock with a key. The axis of the inner part is fixed by a tube to the prop stand which folds up and down. When the prop stand is in the parking position it is locked there by the key. The device is simple, takes up little room, and gives good protection against theft.
