Abstract

The two-pole plug-in unit is for capacitators which can be shorted out. It consists of a housing with two clamping strings. The spring-loaded contact limbs are approximately transverse in the plug-in unit and the free ends are pressed against the lip of the capacitor when engaged. The housing (1) contains a shorting bridge (4) which links the contact limbs (21) of the two terminal springs (2) when the contact lips (51) are unloaded. The contact limbs (21) can be removed via the inserted lips by springing backwards. The contact bridge is U-shaped, when viewed from the side of the assembly, and has a through bore hole for the spring lips of a contact plate.
