Abstract

The mast is made from an enclosed tube, having a slightly conical shape, and made from rubberised material. The envelope is fitted with a valve and is held in a metal socket at its base. The socket is at least in length and has a base flange for fixing to the ground or deck. The mast is inflated to the required size to give the required rigidity and may be used for sailing vessels or land installations.
