Abstract

The sail board has a hull with integral lee boards (17) which are permanently fixed to the side of the hull. The hull is fabricated from a frame with lightweight bulkheads and stringers along the deck. There is a permanent fin rudder (18) at the stern. The bow shape has a sharp V which flattens out in a plane surface towards the stern. The sail (12) is joined to the mast by a rubber swivel (14) with a safety strap (15) attaching it to the deck with a bracket (16).
