Abstract

Procédé pour l'élimination de la pollution azotée d'eau par utilisation de micro-organismes bacteriens, provoquant la nitrification et/ou la dénitrification de l'eau, fixés sur un matériau granulaire servant de support aux micro-organismes et formant un lit à travers lequel l'eau est amenée à passer de bas en haut, ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à soumettre systématiquement le support granulaire, tel que sable, à une recirculation interne sous l'effet d'un moyen qui entraîne, par frottement pendant cette recirculation, la séparation, du matériau granulaire, de l'excès de micro-organismes bactériens et l'amenée dudit excès de micro-organismes bactériens à la partie supérieure du lit, d'où il est évacué.
