Abstract

Deux obturateurs mobiles sur des roues 2 sont reliés entre eux par un câble résistant 41; ils sont situés de part et d'autre de la zone susceptible d'être accidentée. Chaque obturateur comporte au moins un joint d'étanchéité 29, lequel possède des inserts 32 prévenant le fluage ou l'écoulement du caoutchouc sous haute pression. Le pré-serrage 31 est réalisé par un générateur de gaz pyrotechnique 20 provoquant le déplacement irréversible d'un piston 27 par expansion de la chambre 24. Le blocage est provoqué par la rotation des cames 10 autour des axes 11 pour venir en 12, sous l'action des pistons 13. Le déplacement des pistons est commandé par le générateur de gaz 16 au travers des canalisations 18 et 19. La commande d'ignition des charges est donnée par un capteur 64 d'écrasement du pipe ou par un capteur de pression 52 ou de présence d'eau 53. Ces obturateurs sont utilisables pour la pose offshore de canalisations.
