Abstract

The electronic security alarm for control or surveillance has a pulse system which ensures continuity of control when self tested detectors are used. Absence of pulses initiates the alarm. A number of component values are changed and components are added to the alarm circuit to increase the frequency of control pulses. Where several detectors are employed having self check or self protection circuits these circuits are connected to the control pulses. This allows the continuity of control to be maintained during the self check period. The introduction of a press button allows the alarm to be inhibited while the addition of a diode ensures that the alarm is initiated by the absence of received pulses.
