Abstract

The dynamometer has a central cylindrical body (100) around which are wound two wires (120, 130) of the same nominal resistance. This is surrounded by an intermediate cylindrical body (200) around which two wires (220, 230) are similarly wound and have the same resistance. The measuring force (400) is applied to a support button (110) formed by a bolt screwed into the central body. These bodies are housed in a pot shaped housing (300). The windings are connected into a Wheatstone bridge circuit to measure the applied force. The conical shaped section (240) of the two bodies causes a decrease of resistance in one winding and an increase in the other to increase the sensitivity.
