Abstract

Cet élément préfabriqué sous forme d'un raccord ou connecteur tubulaire est destiné à être utilisé dans la fabrication de treillis tubulaires et de structures analogues pour la réalisation de joints ou de noeuds faisant corps avec la structure. Il est composé d'un tube droit 12 et d'un coude tubulaire 18 qui est soudé sur le tube autour d'une ouverture elliptique ménagée dans la partie extérieure de la courbe du coude. Le tube et le coude peuvent tous deux être en acier au carbone par exemple. Les bords aux extrémités 14, 16 et 20, 22 sont chanfreinés pour le soudage bout à bout aux tubes de la structure. L'invention est notamment applicable à la construction d'engins tels que des plates-formes de forage et d'exploitation pétroliers au large des côtes.
