Abstract

L'invention concerne le réchauffage des pièces dans une installation de laminage à chaud. Un four de réchauffage est monté entre un appareil de coulée continue et un appareil de laminage, la vitesse de l'appareil de laminage étant supérieure à celle de l'appareil de coulée. Le four comprend au moins trois longerons mobiles ayant chacun des mecanismes d'entraînement, les mécanismes accouplant les longerons mobiles adjacents ou les séparant, si bien que le four constitue un dispositif de réchauffage et un dispositif d'accumulation. Application aux installations de laminage à chaud des usines sidérurgiques.
