Abstract

Dispositif d'attelage de remorques à des véhicules tracteurs, notamment de caravanes à des vehicules de tourisme, comportant une platine portée par le châssis du véhicule, et à laquelle est fixée une pièce munie d'une rotule terminale. La platine est disposée au-dessous de la partie arrière 1 du véhicule tracteur, nettement en retrait par rapport au plan tangent à la face extérieure du pare-chocs arrière 2, et présente une saignée délimitée par des epaulements latéraux verticaux, dans laquelle peut s'encastrer une plaque 5 portant une tige 6 elle-même munie de la rotule terminale 7. L'agencement de la platine de la ferrure d'attelage en retrait par rapport au plan tangent au pare-chocs arrière évite que cette platine encaisse des chocs lors de collisions à faible vitesse, ce qui diminue les dégâts occasionnés au véhicule tracteur ainsi qu'à l'autre véhicule.
